Alpha Pay Online 1.5.0

The Alpha Pay Online application offers Alpha Bank cardholders a method for authenticating e-commerce transactions, utilizing biometric features or other security keys available on their devices. For security purposes, users are required to complete a registration process that involves entering the last six digits of their card number, their registered mobile phone number with the bank, and a password associated with their bank account. A validation SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number to confirm successful registration.

During an e-commerce transaction, the system sends a push notification via Alpha Pay Online to inform the cardholder of the pending authorization. Upon receiving the notification, the user can tap on it to view transaction details, with options to either cancel the transaction by selecting “CANCEL” or proceed with authorization by selecting “CONFIRM.”

If the user has not enabled push notifications or chooses not to click on the notification, accessing the Alpha Pay Online application directly will lead them to the transaction summary screen. Here, they can either cancel the transaction by pressing “CANCEL” or confirm it by pressing “CONFIRM,” ensuring there are multiple avenues for transaction control regardless of notification preferences.
